• A PhD in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.

03. Position:- Academic Head of Department: Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Requirements

Registration as a Specialist Physician
Research experience is a pre-requisite and possession of a PhD or strong track record of publications of original research.
At least 10 years’ experience in obstetrics and gynaecology and in university administration at a senior level are essential requirements.
The applicant must have excellent leadership, interpersonal and managerial skills and should have attained sufficient academic and professional standing to command the respect of the members of the department.
The preferred candidate must be appointable at the level of Associate / Adjunct Professor or Full Professor in the University of the Witwatersrand.
The successful candidate will be appointed as a Head of Department for a fixed term of 5 years, renewable for an additional five years based on performance.
