01. Position:– nGAP Lecturer X2
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Application Deadline: 13 September 2024
Requirements
• Registration for a Doctoral degree in the field of Criminal Justice with a specific focus on security science/policing.
• Teaching experience.
• Research ouput(s).
• Knowledge of assessor and moderator training programmes.
• Knowledge of the theory and practice of ODL and technology-enhanced learning
02. Position:– Professor and Associate Professor
Location: Gauteng

Requirements
• A Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent plus experience/track record as a researcher for
a position of Full Professor.
• A BSc (Eng) or BEng in Chemical Engineering, or a BTech in Chemical Engineering.
• Professional Registration with ECSA or registration in progress.
• 5 years teaching/work/relevant experience.
• Proven research profile and consistent publication record in peer-reviewed conference proceedings, journal
articles, book chapters, or books in line with the Unisa Research and Innovation Policy at this level.
• A proven record of supervision of postgraduate Master’s and Doctoral students to completion
03. Position:– Teaching Assistant
Location: Gauteng

Requirements
Not be a Unisa Fixed Term or Permanent staff member.
• Ongoing access to Internet connection at your own cost.
• Own copies of software packages that may be required for teaching e.g. Internet browsers, word processing
etc.
• Only applicants with the relevant M. Ed/PhD qualifications will be considered.
• Please do not apply If you are currently appointed as a Unisa nGAP Lecturer, Professor, Associate Professor, Teaching Assistant, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer or Teaching Assistant.
04. Position:– Senior Lecturer/Lecturer
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Requirements
A master’s degree, NQF level 9, in African Languages with specialisation in Siswati linguistics and/or literature
(foreign qualifications to be evaluated by SAQA)
• Intention to register for a Doctoral degree (draft proposal or application)
• Able to discuss teaching reflection and statement (all candidates)
• 1 year teaching experience (academics) OR 1 year relevant experience (non-academics)
• A research reflection and/or portfolio (academics and non-academics)
05. Position:– Associate Professor/ Senior Lecturer
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Requirements
• Applicable and relevant qualification at NQF 10 in the Accounting Sciences field
• At least four (4) years of academic experience
• Must have produced 4 (Four) research output points in the last 3 (three) years OR 6 (six) research output points in the last
5 (five) years in accredited journals
• Research reflection and/or portfolio
