All the candidates who are eligible for the post of Medical Specialist, Head Clinical unit, Medical Officer/ Registrar, Operational Manager, Medical Officer, Clinical Psychologist Sessional, Ultrasound Radiographer are required to fill out the GPG application forms using the official website portal of Gauteng Provincial Government at www.gauteng.gov.za.

Requirements
- Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a specialist Radiologist. FCRad (Diag) SA; Current registration with HPCSA. Good communication skills. Grade 1 – Less than 5 years relevant experience Grade 2 – Least 5 years, but less than 10 years relevant experience Grade 3 – 10 years and more relevant experience
02. Position:– Head Clinical unit
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Requirements
- Master’s in medicine-Psychiatry: MMED (PSYCH) and a certificate in neuropsychiatry (sub-specialty). Registration with the HPCSA as a neuropsychiatrist. A minimum of 5 years appropriate experience in psychiatry after registration as a neuropsychiatrist. Experience in teaching and training and to supervise academic research in psychiatry at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The ability to manage a psychiatric unit clinically and administratively.
03. Position:– Medical Officer/ Registrar
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Requirements
- MBBCh appropriate qualification that allows registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner and proof of current registration. At least 6 months experience in psychiatry clinical services. Be able to register as a candidate for MMed Psychiatry at the University of Pretoria (UP) and FCpsych SA (Colleges of Medicine – SA) (CMSA).
04. Position:– Operational Manager Nursing grade 1
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Requirements
- Grade 12. Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council [SANC] in terms of Government Notice 425, i.e. Diploma/Degree in Nursing as a Professional Nurse or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 7 (seven) years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in general nursing. Diploma/Degree in Nursing Management will be an added advantage. SANC annual practicing certificate. Valid EB driver’s license. Computer literate. Service certificates compulsory. Verifiable proof of experience. Strong leadership, good communication and sound interpersonal skills are necessary.
05. Position:– Medical Officer
Location: Gauteng

Requirements
- Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner (Basic Medical Degree (MBBCh) or equivalent). Proof of current HPCSA registration for April 2023 – March 2024 Card or receipt of current registration with HPCSA. FC OG & E-SME certificate will be added advantage. Post Community Service
06. Position:– Clinical Psychologist Sessional
Location: Gauteng

Requirements
Master’s degree in clinical psychology. Registration with the health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Psychologist. One (1) year experience after registration as a Clinical Psychologist with a recognized HPCSA) as an Independent Psychologist or One (1) year experience after registration as a Clinical Psychologist with a recognized foreign health professional council, in respect of foreign qualified applicants of whom it is not required to perform Community Services as required in South Africa.
07. Position:– Ultrasound Radiographer GR 1
Location: Gauteng

Requirements
- Post graduate Degree in Ultrasound or relevant qualification. Certificates of registration with HPCSA. Current registration with HPCSA. Four years’ experience is required. Knowledge of public Service legislation, policies and procedures. Skills on the following areas: Supervisory Organizing, Communication computer literacy, interpersonal relationship, Ultrasound Quality Assurance, accreditation standards, knowledge of specialized sonography procedure and equipment.
