We are looking for someone who has a passion for both technology and the restaurant industry to join us as a Customer Support Specialist and play a vital role in assisting our restaurant clients in utilizing our innovative reservation software. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the way restaurants operate. Who we think you are:

• You have experience from the F&B and/or hospitality industry or are just really passionate about – and attentive to what creates a good restaurant experience.
• You have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in Customer Support or a Customer Service role.
• You are a people person who is comfortable with being on the phone with restauranteurs, troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on utilising our platform effectively.

You will work closely with the dev team but will also be involved in the marketing and sales teams. Your primary role will involve you with all front end views and design. There will be some larger projects you will spearhead such as relooking at the UX of many of Dineplan’s pages (including a completely new diner facing booking widget), wireframing and UX for new projects and helping the dev team build out the front end views for these. For sales and marketing you will be able to help design web pages, material and info packs to help with the sales and marketing processes.

• You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in Customer Success, Customer Service or Strategic Consulting.
• You are a people person who is comfortable with being the customer’s go-to person.
• You are comfortable providing strategic advice to managers and directors within our customer base.
• You have an excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
• You are ambitious and self-driven, yet humble with the ability to self-reflect.
• You are interested in tech, but you do not have to have a technical degree.
• You work well under pressure, and you are comfortable managing several projects and processes at the same time.
• You are comfortable self-managing your tasks and time while working efficiently.
• You enjoy problem-solving and can listen to understand client problems and then translate them into innovative solutions.
• Formal education in a relevant field is preferred – lack of formal education should be backed up by proven results and experience working in the industry.

• 2-3 years sales experience ideally in the tech industry. SaaS is a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills (phone, writing, and listening).
• Unmatched consultative selling and closing skills.
• A sharp focus on goals and a strong approach for achieving them.
• Passion for helping businesses grow.
• Curiosity and understanding about the technology and hospitality industry.
• Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
