UFH Vacancies 2025:- The University of Fort Hare (UFH) notification issued to accept online applications for the vacant post of Deputy Vice Chancellor, Executive Director, Director, Head of Department. All the candidates who are eligible for the post of Deputy Vice Chancellor, Executive Director, Director, Head of Department are required to fill out the UFH application forms using the official website portal of University of Fort Hare at www.ufh.ac.za.

  • Research publications or successful supervision or successful research grant funding

  • A relevant Doctoral Degree
  • Registration with a relevant professional accounting body
  • At least 7 years’ experience in higher education
  • Extensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research experience in Accounting and related areas of specialisation Taxation, Auditing, Management Accounting, and Financial Accounting.
  • A track record of international and national accredited research publications commensurate with the academic rank of Associate Professor
  • Postgraduate supervision experience including successful Masters and/or Doctoral supervision commensurate with the academic rank of Associate Professor

  • Qualification/courses in higher education teaching and learning
  • Experience in teaching Accounting or Economics modules.
  • Evidence of successful external fundraising for research.
  • Evidence of supporting early career academics.
  • Recognition in a chosen area of research (e.g., NRF rating).
  • Evidence of networking and collaboration beyond one institution in research and/or teaching
  • Evidence of community engagement integrated with teaching, learning or research

  • At least 3 years’ experience in higher education
  • Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research experience in Management / Business management or related fields
  • A record of accredited research publications commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer
  • Postgraduate supervision experience including successful Masters/Doctoral supervision commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer

  • Postgraduate supervision experience including successful Doctoral supervision commensurate with the academic rank of Professor
  • Evidence of successful national and international fundraising for research
  • Recognition as an established scholar in a chosen area of research (e.g., NRF rating, international keynote addresses/ plenary lectures).

  • Postgraduate supervision experience including successful Doctoral supervision commensurate with the academic rank of Professor
  • Evidence of successful national and international fundraising for research.
  • Recognition as an established scholar in a chosen area of research (e.g., NRF rating, international keynote addresses/ plenary lectures).

  • Master’s degree in Counselling or Clinical psychology
  • 3 years’ work experience as a registered Counselling or Clinical Psychologist
  • 1 year experience working in Higher Education Sector
  • Drivers license
  • Knowledge of and compliance with HPCSA regulations and Ethical guidelines
