Location: Sandhurst, Northern Cape
Requirements
- Tertiary diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year of technical wind industry experience, OR six (6) months of technical wind industry experience and a certificate of completion from a Wind Technician program, OR in the absence of technical wind industry experience, minimum of three (3) years experience working with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical skills and/or composite skills
- Trade tested – Mechanical or electrical•Demonstrated use and understanding of intermediate-level power tools such as hydraulic, power torque, and diagnostic tools (e.g. fluke meter functions and hydraulic pressure gauge)
- Ability to demonstrate an intermediate working knowledge of industrial safety practices/protocols (e.g. Confined Space, energy isolation)
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a Passport
- Strong attention to detail and execution excellence and good interpersonal and customer relation skills as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with employees at all professional levels and ability to respectfully follow supervision and support initiatives
- Basic computer operation skills, familiarity with internet-based program navigation, and ability to generate and interpret computer data and ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics to validate work activity and ensure that risks are identified and mitigated.
02. Position:- Purchaser Service Solutions
Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
Requirements
- Bachelor/diploma or Master’s degree in the field of (or related to) Supply Chain Management (either Business or Engineering) is required.
- Experience of 4 years in Procurement.
- Advanced English level written and speaking
03. Position:- Construction Bid Manager
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Requirements
• Technical degree in Engineering, construction, logistics or similar
• Relevant Project Management related certification (PMP or other similar).
• Minimum 3 to 5 year experience in Project Management in the energy sector, renewables preferred.
• Commercial acumen and experience in working with bids and Contract negotiations
• Fluent in English and second European language will be ranked (French, Portuguese, Spanish).
• MS Excel, DDBB, Power BI computer skills
04. Position:- Site Supervisor
Location: Sandhurst, Northern Cape
Requirements
• Post-Matric Engineering qualification (National higher Diploma, National Diploma, Trade Test, BTech or equivalent as a minimum),
• Minimum 3 years related work experience within wind industry.
05. Position:- Electrical Engineer
Location: Sandton, Gauteng
Requirements
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems
• 5+ years of relevant work experience on grid connection of Renewable power plants from Wind or PV Industry or from System Operators (like ESKOM and RETEC)
• Knowledge about wind power technology (electrical design and control of WTGs and PPC)
• Knowledge about electrical simulation SW like Power Factory
• Knowledge about electrical simulation SW like PSCAD, or open modelling libraries and tools will be advantageous
• Knowledge about ESKOM grid connection code requirements & process
• Knowledge about power system stability, control and analysis
• Knowledge about Power Quality assessment
• Knowledge about HV, MV equipment and Substation design
• Knowledge about Energy Market in South Africa will be an asset
• English language, both written and spoken.
