Requirements

Grade 12
Basic counselling skills as an added advantage
Any related qualification
Experience

Experience in organizing and providing administrative assistance
Experience with the MyHope database system and Global Fund monitoring would be an added advantage
Excellent record-keeping and filing system
High level of computer literacy primarily in Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and deadlines

03. Position:- Head of Programmes

Location : Mthatha, Eastern Cape

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, law, social sciences, or development studies; postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline preferred. 
  • Demonstrated training or experience in project planning and management, local government, governance, anti-corruption, civic participation and action, movement building, accountability, and monitoring and evaluation. 
  • A minimum of five years’ relevant work experience for someone with a postgraduate qualification, and seven years for someone with an undergraduate degree. This should include work experience in the NGO sector, with at least two years of management experience. 
  • Sound and up-to-date knowledge of rights-based, law, and development concepts, methodologies, and techniques including demonstrated understanding of local government and rural community issues. 
  • Sound knowledge of the political, social, economic, and historic environment that the Equality Collective operates in.

04. Position:- Finance Manager

Location : Gauteng

Requirements

  1. Degree or at least a relevant Diploma in Finance / Accounting 
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with donor funded organisation with strong financial systems, controls and procedures
  3. Understanding of NGO sector and financial management of donor funds
  4. High level computer literacy skills, especially in Excel. Experience in Sage beneficial
  5. Excellent analytical, report writing and general communication skills
  6. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, both individually and in a team
  7. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise
  8. Be a mature and ethical individual with high personal standards of trustworthiness, honesty, accountability, and discretion

05. Position:- Grants Specialist

Location : Gauteng

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required.
  2. Grants experience, preferably with international donor-funded organization  For a candidate with a master’s degree 6 years of professional work experience is required, for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree 8 years of relevant technical experience is required. 
  3. Supervisory experience is a plus.
  4. Familiarity with USAID rules and regulations strongly desired.
  5. An extremely well organized and self-directed individual with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
  6. Ability to solve complex technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluation options based on relevant information.
  7. Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English are essential.
  8. Legally entitled to work in South Africa.

Location : South Africa

Requirements

Degree in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting.
At least 10 years’ experience as a finance co-ordinator or equivalent in medium-sized businesses or non-profit organizations.
Previous experience supervising a team of at least 3 people.
Experience working with and sensitivity for Key Populations is preferred.
Experience with Sage online advantageous.
Advanced Excel knowledge is critical.
