Senior and Junior Short-term Consultants

Qualifications and Experience:

At least a master’s degree or any equivalent in Economics, International Trade, International trade law or policy or any other related field.

Specific experience

At least six years of experience in the following areas: areas: Standard Operating Procedures; Social Accounting Matrix; Value Chains development; Scoping Studies; Laboratory Training and Certification; and Capacity building and training programmes.

General professional experience

For JNKEs: at least 5 years of general professional experience

For SNKEs: at least 10 years of general professional experience

Working experience with Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies as well as non-state actors, especially the private sector bodies and companies or similar entities and multiple stakeholders

Experience in working in Namibia or Southern African Development Community (SADC) region or Southern African Customs Union (SACU) will be an asset;

Work experience with the European Union or similar international donor agencies, SADC or SACU, and Namibia trade agreements will be an asset;

Excellent Drafting, facilitation and communication skills in spoken and written English.

Working knowledge of the standard Microsoft Office suite of programs.
