01. Position:- FGASA Groups Program Facilitator

Location : Karongwe, Limpopo

Requirements

  • FGASA qualification and all necessary certificates to legally operate as a field guide
  • 1-2 years experience working in the field (preferably African wildlife)
  • Be a South African citizen/resident or have a South African visa in place
  • Have a SA driver’s license – Code 08/EB (including the ability to tow a trailer)

02. Position:- Field Guide Trainer

Location : Hoedspruit, Limpopo

Requirements

We Are Looking for the Most Qualified People Possible, However This is the Minimum Required. Additional Skills and Experience Will Reflect in the Salary Package Offered.
South African resident
FGASA Field Guide (preferably Professional Field guide)
FGASA Trails Guide (NQF4)
Valid ARH
SASSETA Proficiency
Valid Drivers licence and PrDP
Valid First Aid
DEAT Registered
Extensive 4×4 Driving experience
Extensive and recent experience in the guiding industry (minimum 5 years – luxury lodge-based guiding)
SAPS Competency
FGASA Assessor
FGASA Professional Field Guide qualification
FGASA Trails Guide Mentor
Previous training/teaching and management experience

03. Position:- Support Coordinator

Location : Cape Town, Western Cape

Requirements

  • Experience in a sales role
  • Volunteer experience at home or abroad
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Experience working with international clients
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience working in an international team
  • Exceptional team working skills
  • Commitment to the best customer service
  • Good humour under stress
  • Willingness to work flexible working hours: Regular Shift, Mid Shift, Late Shift, Saturday Shift
  • Ability to deal with multiple competing demands

04. Position:- Content Creator

Location : Cape Town, Western Cape

Requirements

  • 5 years of editing and filming experience
  • Proven experience in filming and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing content creation for both social media and other platforms
  • Skilled at Premiere Pro and After Effects or similar editing and animation tools
  • Proactive and solutions driven
  • Passionate about film, editing and visual storytelling – we need someone who can own the video content at GVI and spearhead improving it from the creative side
  • Great creative eye for visualising, briefing, editing, and filming
  • Professional with the ability to positively represent GVI when filming on bases and working with our field staff and participants

05. Position:- Social Media Manager

Location : Cape Town, Western Cape

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in social media management
  • Experience marketing to a Gen-Z audience
  • Experience marketing to an international audience (UK & US ideal)
  • Agency experience preferred
  • A structured, organised individual with good attention to detail
  • The ability to understand the levers that lead to rapid social media growth and apply those to the GVI context
  • A team player: this role requires close collaboration with multiple team members
  • Passion for or knowledge of key social and environmental issues
