A post -basic qualification in Nursing Education and registered with SANC. Current registration with SANC. A minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional nurse with the SANC as general nurse. A minimum of at least 4 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the field. Computer literacy with proficiency in MS office software applications. Code B driver’s licence and a qualification in health service management will be added advantage. Financial management, leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Public service policies and other health related prescripts. Sound knowledge of code of conduct. Good interpersonal skills, Human resource management and Labour relations act. Planning, organising, coordination and communication skills. Ability to take charge and independent decisions. Knowledge of administrative policies and guidelines. Preparedness to work in stressful conditions. Demonstrate an in depth understanding of legislation and ethical practices relating to public service and nursing.
A basic R425 (i.e. Degree/Diploma in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Professional nurse. Registration with SANC as a Professional nurse. A minimum of 8 years appropriate experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in general nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred to the above must be appropriate/recognisable experience at management level. Experience in General Nursing care process and procedures, quality assurance, patient experience of care, Patient’s safety, infection control and relevant legal frameworks e.g. Ideal hospital realisation framework. Knowledge and insight into the relevant framework such as nursing act, scope of practise, and basic knowledge of the Labour Relations Act. Understanding of Public Service Regulations. Other Skills: Good ethical practices, caring attitude, quality patient care, multi – cultural, nursing advocacy, patient support, communication, planning, organisational, conflict and personnel management as well as administrative skills.
Senior Certificate (Grade 12). Basic R425 qualification (Degree /Diploma in Nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a professional nurse. Registration with SANC as a professional Nurse. A post-basic qualification, with a duration of at least 1 year, accredited with SANC in the relevant speciality, referred above. A minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC. At least 5 years of the of the period referred to above must be appropriate/recognisable experience in child nursing science (speciality) after obtaining 1 year post -basic qualification in the relevant speciality. Knowledge of the scope of practise in the areas under their control. Sound knowledge of priority programs clinical guidelines, protocols, policies and procedure and best practices in nursing care service delivery. Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation, decision -making, problem solving, conflict management, counselling, teaching, mentorship and supervisory skill. Knowledge of code of conduct, Labour relations and related policies. Adherence to prescribed nursing Standards and Legal framework. Knowledge of ideal Hospital Framework. A qualification in Health Service Management will be added advantage. Other Skills: Leadership, Management, planning, organising and co-ordination skills.

Basic R425 qualification (i.e. Diploma/Degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with SANC as Professional Nurse. A post – basic nursing qualification, with a duration of at least 1 year, accredited with SANC in the speciality referred above. Registration with SANC a Professional Nurse. A minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse in General Nursing. At least 5 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate /recognisable experience in Maternal, child and women’s Health with specific emphasis of labour and post-natal wards, after obtaining the 1 year post basic qualification in the relevant speciality and be registered with SANC.Knowledge of code of conduct, labour relations and related policies. Ensure adherence to prescribed nursing standards and legal framework. A Qualification in Health Service Management will be added advantage. Other Skills: Leadership, Management, planning, organising and co-ordination skills. Knowledge of relevant acts, prescripts, policies and procedure governing health care service delivery.
Qualifications that allows registration with South African Nursing Council as Enrolled Nursing Assistant. Current registration with South African Nursing Council as Enrolled Nursing Assistant. Knowledge of nursing care processes, procedures, nursing statutes and other relevant legal principles. Basic communication skills, elementary writing skills, ability to as part of a team and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles and Patients’ Rights Charter. Must be prepared to work shifts including night duty, weekends and public holidays.
Diploma/ Degree in Nursing (Basic R171, R174 or R425) qualification or equivalent that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse. Good communication, report writing, facilitation, coordination, planning and organisational skills, problem solving and information management skills. Current registration with South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
Appropriate Qualifications that allow for the required registration with the HPCSA in Diagnostic Radiography. Proof of original registration and current registration (2026/27) with the HPCSA as an independent practice radiographer. No experience required after registration with the HPCSA as an independent diagnostic radiographer. Must have completed the community service as per the requirements of the professional body (HPCSA). Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, policies, Acts, and procedures governing the health sector and the Radiography profession. Computer literacy (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel). Good patient care, sound report writing, administrative, problem-solving, and computer literacy skills. Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment. To relieve colleagues as the need arises. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Have effective interpersonal skills, Quality Control and record-keeping skills, conflict resolution skills, and organizational and time management skills. Compliance with Batho Pele Principles, Regulated Norms and Standards, and Ideal Clinic Realization and Maintenance Framework, Health Information Management, PMDS, Occupational Health and Safety, and Infection Prevention and Control principles.
Valid Degree in Occupational Therapist and must be registered with HPCSA as Occupational Therapist. Must have completed community service in OT. Must be computer literate. Willing to work under pressure.
Minimum educational qualification: Basic R425 qualification (i.e. degree/diploma in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. A post-basic nursing qualification, with a duration of at least 1 year, accredited with the SANC in one of the specialties indicated above. A minimum of 4 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. Demonstrate effective communication with patients, supervisors and other clinicians, including report writing when required. Able to plan and organize own work and that of support personnel to ensure proper maternal and neonatal care. Ability to work independently and innovatively. Knowledge of legal prescripts that regulate nursing and health services. Decision making and problem-solving abilities within the limit of the public sector and institutional policy framework.

SANC approved Qualification in Nursing Administration is essential. A minimum of 8 years appropriate / recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate / recognizable experience at management level. Computer literacy will be added advantage.
Appropriate qualification that allows registration with HPCSA as a Degree medical specialist in a normal specialty. Registration with HPCSA as Medical specialist in Radiology. Or just completed Registrar in Radiology. Proof of current registration with HPCSA. Must be computer literate and willing to work under pressure.
